Orlando's Shabazz Napier likely headed to Portland
The Orlando Magic are working on a deal that will send point guard Shabazz Napier to the Portland Trail Blazers, according to Josh Robbins of the Orlando Sentinel.
The rumored returned is believed to be just cash considerations, with Napier becoming Damian Lillard's backup. The soon-to-be 25 year-old has just 10 starts in his NBA career and heading into next season, he doesn't carry much fantasy value.
Napier struggled to a -2.5 nERD last season, which ranked 104th, in 55 games played. He averaged 3.7 points, 1.8 assists, and 1.0 rebounds in 10.9 minutes per game, while posting a poor .460 true shooting percentage.
