Rajon Rondo agrees to 2-year deal with Bulls

The Chicago Bulls and point guard Rajon Rondo have come to terms on a two-year deal worth a reported $28 million.

What It Means:

With Derrick Rose out, Chicago had an obvious hole at point guard, and while Rondo hasn't been the most reliable player since leaving Boston, he showed last year that he still has a lot to offer teams.

He only ranked 95th in the league with a -1.5 nERD, but his 48.0 assist rate was the third-highest of his career despite his 18.8 percent usage rate being his third-lowest. His .506 true shooting percentage was also above his career average, as was his 9.3 percent total rebound rate.
