The Dallas Mavericks and power forward Dwight Powell have come to terms on a four-year deal reportedly worth at least $37 million.
The Mavericks have a dearth of frontcourt depth, and the 24-year-old Powell has shown enough promise through his first two seasons that this is a solid deal for Dallas.
Powell ranked 57th in the NBA with a 2.3 nERD this season, while his .557 true shooting percentage and 15.1 percent total rebound rate were both improvements over his numbers as a rookie.
