The Grizzlies and point guard Mike Conley have agreed in principle to a five-year, $153 million deal.
The two sides are still sorting out details, according to ESPN's Marc Stein, but this will be the most expensive contract in the history of the NBA. Conley will be 33-years-old when the fifth year of this deal sets in and since the 2012-2013 season, his games played have decreased each campaign. He's probably an early-to-mid round selection in standard fantasy leagues.
Conley is coming off of a terrific season in which he posted the highest assist rate of his career (32.7 percent), while managing the lowest turnover rate of his career (9.5 percent). He ranked 50th in the NBA with a 3.1 nERD.
