The Brooklyn Nets are expected to pursue free agent point guard Jeremy Lin, per the Charlotte Observer's Rick Bonnell.
Charlotte has been hoping to retain Lin, but with a dearth of point guard talent, the Nets could make a strong push for the 27-year-old.
Lin's not coming off of a great season, and last season he posted a career-low 13.8 Player Efficiency Rating and 18.6 percent assist rate, while his .534 True Shooting Percentage was his lowest since his rookie year and he ranked 100th in the NBA with a -2.0 nERD.
