Jazz place Trey Burke on the trade block

Utah Jazz point guard Trey Burke has reportedly been made available via trade.

What It Means:

The Jazz have a surplus at the point guard position, with George Hill, Dante Exum, Raul Neto and Shelvin Mack all on the roster. If the team elects to off Burke or one of their other points, they will likely target an upgrade on the wing, particularly their backup small forward spot. The Detroit Pistons could be a likely trade partner if they fail to acquire a premier point guard in free agency.

Burke ranked just inside the top 100 with a -1.9 nERD in 64 games played last season. He averaged 10.6 points, 1.8 rebounds, 2.3 assists and 1.4 3-pointers per game on a career-best 50.7 True Shooting Percentage. His 21.3 minutes played per contest were the lowest of Burke's three years in the league.
