Dallas Mavericks guard Deron Williams has declined to pick up his player option, and he will be an unrestricted free agent this offseason.
There won't be many players who pick up their player options this summer, but Williams was injured a lot last season, so it will be interesting to see if a team gives him big money. However, he is only giving up $5.7 million, so he should expect more than that on the open market with the salary cap set to explode.
Williams averaged 14.1 points and 5.8 assists this past season. He had a nERD of -1.9 through 65 games.
