Richard Jefferson says that he will retire from Cavaliers, NBA
Cleveland Cavaliers guard/forward Richard Jefferson said after Game 7 that he will retire from the NBA.
"My teammates keep trying to talk me out of it," Jefferson explained, "and I'm just like, 'Guys, this has been the most stressful month of my life, I don't know.'" After 15 years on the court, Jefferson will walk off into the sunset as an NBA champion.
Jefferson turns 36 on Tuesday, but he proved during this year's Finals that he can still play at a competitive level with averages of 5.7 points, 5.3 rebounds and 1.3 steals in 24 minutes per game.
