Cleveland Cavaliers forward Kevin Love was aggressive throughout the Cavs' series-clinching win on Sunday, finishing with a team-high 14 rebounds to go along with nine points, three assists, two steals and one turnover in 30 minutes of action.
Love's disappearances has been a big story in this series, but he turned in a solid showing in Cleveland's Game 7 win. He even provided some good defense in a 1-on-1 isolation situation against Steph Curry late in the fourth quarter.
It's not guarantee he will be back in Cleveland next season. He is still owed $93.5 million over the next four years. Love did, however, turn in a superb regular season, ranking 21st with a 7.5 nERD. He averaged 16.0 points, 9.9 boards and 2.4 assists per game. The matchups in this series may have hindered his production, but the notion Cleveland is somehow better without him just isn't true.
