Raptors' DeMar DeRozan opts out of contract
Toronto Raptors guard DeMar DeRozan officially opted out of his contract on Monday.
DeRozan had another great regular season improving in several categories, but he had an underwhelming postseason. Either way, he will likely demand max money whether it's with the Raptors or another team this summer. Players with options on their contracts have until June 15th to opt out.
DeRozan ranked 17th in the NBA with an 8.2 nERD, but he really struggled in the playoffs, sporting a 46.2 True Shooting Percentage and a 14.2 Player Efficiency Rating.
