Knicks' Arron Afflalo expected to opt out this summer
New York Knicks guard Arron Afflalo is expected to opt out of his player option for the 2016-'17 season.
What It Means:
Afflalo hasn't made a decision yet on his $8 million option for next season, but he is expected bet on himself and opt out.
The 30-year-old averaged 12.8 points, 3.7 rebounds and 1.3 treys in 2016-17 and won't be much of a fantasy option outside of deeper leagues no matter where he ends up. His -4.6 nERD ranked 126th.
