Spurs' LaMarcus Aldridge won't play in Olympics
San Antonio Spurs power forward LaMarcus Aldridge has also removed himself from Olympic consideration due to a hand injury.
He was dealing with a finger issue back in April and it may have lingered. Aldridge was grabbing his hand at times even in the second round of the postseason. There is no word of any procedures at this time. After a slow start to his season, Aldridge was awesome after the break with averages of 19.9 points, 8.9 boards, 1.6 assists, and 1.2 blocks per game.
Aldridge was excellent this season, posting an 11.2 nERD, which ranked 11th best. His 56.5 True Shooting Percentage was a career high.
