Charges have been filed against Hawks' Mike Scott

A notice of accusation has been filed against Atlanta Hawks forward Mike Scott following his arrest on felony drug charges back in July.

What It Means:

Scott is facing up to 25 years in prison on two felony drug charges after police found 35.2 grams of marijuana and 10.9 grams of MDMA in his vehicle in July. No arraignment date has been established yet and the Hawks will not comment on the situation. Mike's brother Antonn was driving the car and reached speeds of 98 mph before cops finally pulled them over, but Mike took "full responsibility" for the drugs. We'll update this situation once a court date is set.

Scott averaged 6.2 points and 2.7 rebounds in 15.3 minutes per game in the 2015-2016 season. He had a nERD of 1.9, which ranked him 92nd among all players this past season.
