Shaun Livingston leads Warriors' bench in Game 1 victory
Golden State Warriors point guard Shaun Livingston was magnificent during a Game 1 win over the Cleveland Cavaliers on Thursday, scoring a playoff career-high 20 points with four rebounds, three assists, one steal and no turnovers in 27 minutes.
Golden State's role players had to step up big in a game in which Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson only combined for 20 points, and Livinsgton did just that, leading the Warriors in scoring.
His 2.9 nERD was good for 52nd in the NBA in the regular season, and he has been excellent in the playoffs, sporting a 15.2 Player Efficiency Rating and a 24.0 percent Assist Rate with only a 12.1 percent Turnover Rate.
