Clippers' Paul George (knee) expected to miss start of first round
Los Angeles Clippers forward Paul George is expected to be sidelined to begin the first-round playoff series against the Phoenix Suns, reports Shams Charania of The Athletic and Stadium.
What It Means:
It looks like George will miss at least Game 1 on April 16 in Phoenix. He sprained his knee on March 21 and was given a 2-3 week timeline to recover. Eric Gordon is expected to start in place of George, with Normal Powell, Terance Mann, and Bones Hyland also playing larger roles in his absence.
