Shai Gilgeous-Alexander (ankle) sidelined Tuesday for Thunder
Oklahoma City Thunder point guard Shai Gilgeous-Alexander (left ankle sprain) is out Tuesday versus the Charlotte Hornets.
Gilgeous-Alexander has been downgraded from questionable for the front end of a back-to-back. He should return to action for Wednesday's matchup versus the Detroit Pistons. Isaiah Joe is a candidate to start on Tuesday, while Aaron Wiggins, Tre Mann, Josh Giddey, Jalen Williams, and Lu Dort also stand to benefit from additional opportunities.
Giddey ($7,900) is averaging 44.4 FanDuel points per 36 since the break with SGA off the floor. Jalen Williams ($7,000) has hit 40-plus FanDuel points in four of his past nine outings. Per numberFire's NBA Heat Map, the Thunder have the second-highest implied total (120.25) on Tuesday's six-game slate.
