Karl-Anthony Towns (injury management) out Monday in Timberwolves' second leg
Minnesota Timberwolves center Karl-Anthony Towns (right calf strain injury management) is out Monday versus the Sacramento Kings.
What It Means:
The Timberwolves are holding Towns out on the second end of a back-to-back after he played 32 minutes and hit the game-winning 3-pointer in Sunday's win over the Golden State Warriors. It was only his second game since injuring his calf on November 28, but Towns should be back for Wednesday's matchup with the Phoenix Suns. Kyle Anderson and Rudy Gobert stand to benefit from Towns' absence on Monday night.
