Ja Morant (conditioning) limited to low-20s off Grizzlies' bench Wednesday
Memphis Grizzlies point guard Ja Morant (conditioning/suspension) will play off the bench Wednesday versus the Houston Rockets, per head coach Taylor Jenkins.
What It Means:
Jenkins said Morant will play minutes in the low-20s in his first game back from a nine-game absence, as he continues to regain his conditioning. This will be the first time Morant comes off the bench in his NBA career, but Jenkins indicated that the 23-year-old will likely play off the bench for a couple games.
