Grizzlies 'hopeful' Ja Morant will play Wednesday
Memphis Grizzlies coach Taylor Jenkins said the team is "hopeful" that point guard Ja Morant will be able to play in Wednesday's game against the Houston Rockets.
Morant has been reintegrating with the Grizzlies over the past few days while ramping up his conditioning, and could make his return as early as Wednesday's game against the Rockets. He has not played since March 3rd after videos emerged of Morant displaying a weapon in a club.
The Grizzlies lost their first two games without Morant, but have managed to win five of their last six games since then. Our models give the Grizzlies a 73.3% win probability for tonight's game against Mavericks.
