Brooklyn Nets power forward Nicolas Claxton (thumb/Achilles) is starting in Friday's game against the Minnesota Timberwolves.
Claxton will join Brooklyn's starting five after the 23-year old was sidelined on Thursday with multiple injuries and Nerlens Noel was sent to the bench. In an opportunity versus a Timberwolves' defense allowing 53.6 FanDuel points per game to his position, numberFire's models project Claxton to score 35.1 FanDuel points.
Claxton's current projection includes 14.4 points, 9.0 rebounds, and 1.9 assists.
