Suns restricting Kevin Durant (knee) minutes through 'at least' next week
Phoenix Suns forward Kevin Durant (knee) will be on a minutes restriction for "at least the next week," per head coach Monty Williams.
Durant played 27 minutes in his Suns debut on Wednesday and scored 23 points (10-15 field goals, 2-4 3-pointers) with 6 rebounds, 2 assists, and 2 blocks. Williams' comments suggest Durant will be kept under 30 minutes for the next few games. The Suns' next game is on Friday versus the Chicago Bulls.
Durant scored 37.2 FanDuel points in his debut and had the second-highest usage rate (29.0%) on the Suns behind Devin Booker (39.9%). Josh Okogie had 16.1 FanDuel points in 33.4 minutes and Torrey Craig produced 15.4 FanDuel points in 14.7 minutes off the bench.
