Mavericks' Markieff Morris expected to be available Wednesday
Dallas Mavericks forward/center Markieff Morris remains on track to be available for Wednesday against the Los Angeles Clippers, per head coach Jason Kidd.
Morris and Kyrie Irving joined the Mavericks for their first practice on Tuesday since being acquired from the Brooklyn Nets. Dwight Powell, Christian Wood, and Reggie Bullock are expected to be ahead of Morris on the depth chart in Dallas, so the 33-year-old veteran may continue to struggle to earn consistent minutes. He only averaged 10.6 minutes over 27 games for the Nets this season.
numberFire's models project Morris to average 15.8 minutes per game for the Mavericks, with 5.4 points, 3.7 rebounds, and 1.0 assists per contest.
