Charlotte Hornets point guard Dennis Smith Jr. (wrist) is probable for Friday against the Detroit Pistons.
Smith played 20 minutes on Thursday versus the Chicago Bulls and scored 7 points on 3-6 field goals and 1-2 3-pointers with a rebound and an assist. He may have tweaked his wrist in the process, but it shouldn't keep Smith on the sidelines for the second half of the Hornets' back-to-back. Cody Martin (knee) and Kelly Oubre (hand) will both remain out.
numberFire's models project DSJ for 21.1 minutes and 20.6 FanDuel points on Friday, and he has a $4,000 salary on the Main slate. Per our NBA Heat Map, the Hornets’ implied total (119.25) is No. 6 out of 16 active teams today and the game total (240.0) is second-highest on the board.
