Grizzlies' Santi Aldama likely starting Thursday
Memphis Grizzlies power forward Santi Aldama is expected to start versus the Cleveland Cavaliers on Thursday, per head coach Taylor Jenkins.
Aldama is the likely starter in place of Jaren Jackson Jr. (thigh, doubtful). He is averaging 10.2 points, 6.3 rebounds, 1.0 assists, 0.9 steals, 1.1 blocks, and 1.3 3-pointers in 27.7 minutes per game as a starter this season. Brandon Clarke will remain in a role off the bench.
Aldama is now numberFire's top point-per-dollar value on Thursday's seven-game slate. He has a $3,900 salary and our models project him for 23.9 FanDuel points over 27.6 minutes. Per our NBA Heat Map, the Grizzlies’ implied total (108.5) is second-lowest out of 14 active teams today.
