LeBron James (ankle) to play Tuesday for Lakers at MSG
Los Angeles Lakers forward LeBron James (ankle) will play on Tuesday versus the New York Knicks, per Dave McMenamin of ESPN.
James missed the front end of the Lakers' back-to-back, but he will return to play in his first game at Madison Square Garden since January 2020. Rui Hachimura figures to move back to the bench after replacing James in the starting lineup on Monday against the Brooklyn Nets. Russell Westbrook will also not have as much work to do with James active.
numberFire's models project LeBron for 36.6 minutes and 47.2 FanDuel points on Tuesday, and he has a $7,400 salary on the Main slate. Per our NBA Heat Map, the Lakers’ implied total (115.25) is No. 5 out of 10 active teams today.
