T.J. Warren (shin) ruled out again Monday for Nets
Brooklyn Nets small forward T.J. Warren (left shin contusion) is out Monday versus the Los Angeles Lakers.
Warren will miss a second consecutive game due to a shin injury. His next chance to play will be Wednesday versus the Boston Celtics. Royce O'Neale stands to benefit from Warren's absence on Monday night. He played 36 minutes last game and scored 14 points (4-7 3-pointers, 2-2 free throws) with 5 rebounds, 3 assists, and 1 steal. Yuta Watanabe and Joe Harris should also see more playing time with Warren sidelined.
numberFire's models project O'Neale for 36.1 minutes and 27.0 FanDuel points on Monday, and he has a $5,400 salary on the Main slate. Watanabe has a $3,700 salary and is projected for 19.5 FanDuel points, which makes him our third-best point-per-dollar value on the board. Per our NBA Heat Map, the Nets’ implied total (119.5) is tied for No. 3 out of 16 active teams today.
