Celtics' Marcus Smart (ankle) expected to miss at least 1 week
Boston Celtics point guard Marcus Smart (ankle) expects to be sidelined for at least a week.
Smart is progressing in his recovery from an ankle bone bruise and is unsure how long he will be out. Asked about a timetable for returning, Smart said "None. I'm hoping for a week or two, but who knows? I (don't) want to go out there and rush back and then we're in the same predicament a couple months from now, a couple days from now." It sounds like Smart and Boston will take a conservative approach to his return.
Smart is averaging 11.1 points, 3.4 rebounds, 7.2 assists, and 28.8 FanDuel points per game this season.
