Klay Thompson (injury management) out Monday afternoon for Golden State
Golden State Warriors guard/forward Klay Thompson will not play Monday in the team's game against the Washington Wizards.
What It Means:
The Warriors are on the second leg of a back-to-back set, having lost to Chicago Sunday. Now, Thompson has been ruled out for Monday afternoon's contest due to right Achilles tendon injury management. Expect him back in the mix versus Boston on Thursday. For now, expect Jordan Poole to slide into the starting five on the wing, and Donte DiVincenzo should see more minutes as well.
In 34 games this season, Thompson is averaging 20.9 points, 3.9 rebounds, 2.5 assists and 30.8 FanDuel points.
