Thunder's Steven Adams is quiet in Game 3 blowout win
Oklahoma City Thunder center Steven Adams was quiet in the Thunder's blowout win against the Golden State Warriors in Game 3. He played only 18 minutes, scoring eight points and grabbing five rebounds, and committing four fouls.
While foul trouble was a factor, the Thunder's smaller lineup with Serge Ibaka playing center had a lot to do with Adams' lack of minutes. His 18 minutes was the fewest he has seen all playoffs, and with the success OKC had with matching Golden State's smaller lineup, don't be surprised if Adams sees similar minutes in Game 4.
Adams is having a great postseason nonetheless. He is averaging 10.4 points and 9.7 rebounds per game, and his Effective Field Goal Percentage in the playoffs is 65.5 percent.
