Orlando reaches deal with Frank Vogel
The Orlando Magic have reportedly reached a deal in principle to bring on Frank Vogel as their next head coach.
What It Means:
We reported earlier today that the two sides were in contract talks and now a deal is apparently official. Vogel will have a very young and talented roster to work with, and with Scott Skiles no longer a part of the equation, guys like Victor Oladipo, Aaron Gordon and perhaps even Mario Hezonja will see a boost in value. Oladipo was a first-round stud after the All-Star break this season, so he'll likely cost you a second-round pick on draft day.
Orlando finished this season ranked 19th in our team power rankings. With Elfrid Payton and Nikola Vucevic, in addition to Oladipo, Gordon, and Hezonja, the Magic have plenty of upside.
