Knicks' Kristaps Porzingis named to All-Rookie First Team
New York Knicks forward Kristaps Porzingis was named to the All-Rookie First Team on Thursday.
Porzingis was a unanimous First Team selection after an impressive rookie campaign in which he produced top-50 value behind averages of 14.3 points, 7.3 boards, 1.1 triples, 1.3 assists, and an elite 1.9 swats per contest. Joining Porzingis on the All-Rookie First Team will be Karl-Anthony Towns (also a unanimous First Team selection), Devin Booker, Nikola Jokic, and Jahlil Okafor.
Porzingis posted a 0.4 nERD, which ranked 76th, in 72 games played this season, and a 51.8 True Shooting Percentage. It was a solid first season for the 20 year-old.
