Charlotte Hornets point guard Dennis Smith Jr. (ankle) has been ruled out of Friday's game against the Minnesota Timberwolves.
Smith has been added to the injury report with an ankle injury and will not be available to face Minnesota on Friday. His next chance to play will come against the Boston Celtics on Monday.
