Michael Porter Jr. (back) expected to play Friday for Nuggets
Denver Nuggets power forward Michael Porter Jr. (back) is expected to play on Friday against the Utah Jazz, per head coach Michael Malone.
Porter Jr. had a back spasm during Monday's game and he sat out Wednesday as a result, but Malone said it was mostly a precautionary measure as the team takes a big-picture approach this season. Bruce Brown will likely move back to the second unit after filling in for Porter with the starters. Porter has scored at least 15 points in each game this season while shooting 51% on field goals and 50% on 3-pointers (8.0 attempts per game).
numberFire's models project MPJ for 32.5 minutes and 27.4 FanDuel points on Friday. He has a 22.6% usage rate this season and is averaging 0.98 FanDuel points per minute.
