Kawhi Leonard to miss half of Clippers' weekend back-to-back
Los Angeles Clippers guard/forward Kawhi Leonard is expected to sit out either Saturday versus the Sacramento Kings or Sunday against the Phoenix Suns for load management.
Leonard indicated that he might not play in both sides of a back-to-back until later in the season. He entered the game off the bench in the third quarter on Thursday night and finished with 14 points, 7 rebounds, 2 assists, a steal, and a triple. Leonard's absence will free up opportunities for Paul George, Norman Powell, Marcus Morris, Reggie Jackson, and John Wall.
Kawhi scored 26.4 FanDuel points on Thursday and registered a 29.6% usage rate (second-highest on the Clippers). Wall led the team with a 32.2% usage rate over 25.0 minutes.
