Devin Harris undergoes surgery on toe, thumb for Mavericks

Dallas Mavericks guard Devin Harris underwent surgery on his left great toe and left thumb on Tuesday morning.

What It Means:

An official timetable for Harris' recovery has not yet been set, but he has plenty of time to get himself ready for the 2016-'17 season. Harris is again going to be a backup guard for the Mavs next season, so he's not worth drafting in most leagues.

Harris finished this season with a -0.2 nERD, which ranked 82nd, in 64 games played. He averaged 7.6 points, 2.2 rebounds and 1.8 assists per game while posting a 55.9 True Shooting Percentage.
