Damian Lillard feels fine after battling cold for Blazers
Portland Trail Blazers point guard Damian Lillard said that he feels 100 percent healthy after battling a chest cold for the past week.
Lillard needs to have a strong Game 3 for Portland to avoid falling into a 3-0 hole versus the Golden State Warriors, and improved efficiency would be a start -- the Blazers' two-time All-Star is shooting a mere 36.6 percent in the postseason. He'll have a few more days to prepare before Saturday's crucial home game.
Lillard owned the 22nd best nERD in the regular season at 7.1. He's averaging 23.4 points, 5.3 assists, 3.6 rebounds, 1.5 steals, and 3.4 3-pointers per game so far in the playoffs, but his Effective Field Goal Percentage is just 45.0.
