Warriors' Stephen Curry (knee) doubtful for Game 3
Golden State Warriors guard Stephen Curry (sprained right knee) didn't practice on Thursday and Steve Kerr doesn't expect him to play in Game 3 on Saturday against the Portland Trail Blazers.
Curry did some on-court work after practice but his status for Saturday's Game 3 remains doubtful. Warriors general manager Bob Myers said earlier in the week that Curry needs to play "a little bit of 3-on-3 or 5-on-5" before returning to action, which he's yet to do. We'll have a better feel for his status after Friday's practice.
Curry led the league by a big margin in the regular season with a 26.3 nERD. He averaged 30.1 points, 6.7 assists, and 5.4 rebounds per game with an outstanding 63.0 Effective Field Goal Percentage. The Warriors are up two-games-to-none on Portland and have a 42.0 percent chance at winning the NBA championship, according to our projections.
