Cleveland Cavaliers forward LeBron James racked up 27 points, five assists, four rebounds and three steals in just 28 minutes on Wednesday, hitting 9-of-15 shots including a 4-of-6 mark from downtown.
The game was all about 3-point shooting, but LeBron came in averaging a league-high 1.33 points per possession on post-ups during the playoffs (among qualifying players). It's an interesting wrinkle since the Hawks' defense has allowed the third-fewest points off post-ups (0.64 points per possession). As tonight's line reiterates, James is simply too versatile to be held in check offensively during the course of a seven-game series.
He ranked fourth in the regular season with a 15.5 nERD, and our algorithms give the Cavs a 16.1 percent chance of winning the championship, the third-best clip behind -- you guessed it -- the Golden State Warriors and San Antonio Spurs.
