Klay Thompson scores 27, Warriors take 2-0 series lead
Golden State Warriors shooting guard Klay Thompson scored 27 points on 7-of-20 shooting to lead the Warriors to a 110-99 win over the Portland Trail Blazers in Game 2, giving Golden State a 2-0 series lead.
It has to be encouraging for the Warriors to be up two games despite Steph Curry being sidelined.
With Curry missing time, Thompson has been outstanding in the playoffs, averaging 25.9 points, 4.1 rebounds and 3.6 assists in 35.1 minutes per game. He is posting a 56.1 Effective Field Goal Percentage. His 6.0 nERD in the regular season ranked 27th in the NBA.
