Blazers' Damian Lillard (chest cold) feeling better
Portland Trail Blazers point guard Damian Lillard (chest cold) said after Tuesday morning's shootaround he's feeling "a little better."
Lillard acknowledged after Game 1 he's been dealing with a bit of a chest cold, but there's no way a minor illness will force Lillard to the sidelines for Tuesday's Game 2. Lillard went just 8-of-26 from the field during Game 1, so he'll need to have a much more efficient outing on Tuesday night if the Blazers hope to secure a Game 2 upset over the Golden State Warriors.
Lillard owned the 22nd best nERD in the regular season at 7.1. He's averaging 23.1 points, 5.1 assists, 3.6 rebounds and 1.4 steals per game so far in the playoffs, although he is shooting just 36.2 percent from the floor.
