Miami's Hassan Whiteside says thigh still not 100 percent
Miami Heat center Hassan Whiteside said that his bruised right thigh is at about 85 percent, but he has no intention of missing any time with the injury.
"It's not 100 percent, but I'm going to keep playing," said Whiteside. The thigh injury didn't appear to limit him much during Sunday's blowout win over the Charlotte Hornets, and he should be receiving a full compliment of minutes for Tuesday's Game 1 against the Toronto Raptors. He's one of the better centers to target in DFS.
Whiteside's 12.4 nERD during the regular season ranked ninth, and his 3.7 blocks per game paced the league. He averaged 13.1 points, 11.4 rebounds, and 3.4 blocks in the seven game first round series against Charlotte.
