Oklahoma City Thunder forward Kevin Durant scored 28 points in 42 minutes against the San Antonio Spurs during a Game 1 win on Monday, adding seven rebounds, four assists, one block and one 3-pointer.
He was much better in this game even though Kawhi Leonard guarded him more in this game than on Saturday. Durant and Westbrook scored 57 of the 98 points and handed out 14 of the 16 assists for the Thunder in this game. The series is off until Friday, so Oklahoma City will have some confidence after they were blown out in Game 1.
Durant is averaging 24.9 points, 6.7 rebounds, 3.7 assists and 1.7 3-pointers this postseason on a 50.5 True Shooting Percentage. He had a 63.4 True Shooting Percentage during the regular season, in addition to a 19.7 nERD, which was the second best in the NBA.
