Stephen Curry (knee) hopeful to return for Warriors prior to May 9
Golden State Warriors guard Stephen Curry (knee) said he is hoping to return before the two-week return date of May 9th.
He's not wasting any time to get back out there and is getting treatment three times per day. Curry is starting to do some work in the training room, but the big step will be to do some practice with contact. He'll likely miss at least a couple games in the second round, which will start on Sunday or Tuesday depending if the Los Angeles Clippers-Portland Trail Blazers series goes to seven games.
Curry was the league's best player this season, ranking first with a 26.3 nERD. He led the league with 30.1 points per game and a ridiculous 66.9 True Shooting Percentage. Our models currently give the Warriors a 36.9 percent at winning the NBA championship, the highest of any team.
