Boston Celtics guard/forward Evan Turner will draw interest from several teams when he becomes a free agent this summer, according to league sources.
Turner has resurrected his career as the Celtics sixth man, and it hasn't gone unnoticed around the league. "He’s done everything they’ve asked him to do, and from what I hear, hasn’t grumbled a day about it," one rival executive said. "Every team needs a guy like that in their locker room." Turner looks to be in line for a raise this summer and could see a minor boost in fantasy value if he finds a job as a starter.
Turner averaged 10.5 points, 4.9 rebounds and 4.4 assists in 81 regular season games this season. He's picked it up against the Atlanta Hawks in their first-round playoff matchup, averaging 14.2 points, 5.4 rebounds, 4.6 assists, 1.6 steals and 1.2 blocks through five games. Turner finished the regular season with a -1.2 nERD, which ranked 92nd.
