Blake Griffin (quad) will miss rest of postseason for Clippers
Los Angeles Clippers forward/center Blake Griffin (quad) will miss the remainder of the postseason.
This is a crushing blow to the Clippers' postseason run, and it would be shocking to see them advance out of the first-round at this point. With both Paul and Griffin done for the postseason, just about everyone on the Clippers roster will need to step up with guys like Austin Rivers, Jamal Crawford and Jeff Green seeing the largest value boost. For what it's worth, the MRI did not reveal any further damage to Griffin's left quad, so it sounds like the Clippers are just being cautious after he aggravated the injury in Game 4.
Griffin played 35 games this season, earning a 2.7 nERD, which fell just outside of the top 50. In the first round, he's averaging 15.0 points, 8.8 rebounds, and 4.0 assists on 37.7 percent shooting from the field.
