Mavericks' Justin Anderson scores 14 points in Game 5 start

Dallas Mavericks small forward Justin Anderson made his first postseason start against the Oklahoma City Thunder on Monday, scoring 14 points with four rebounds, one assist, three steals, one block and two 3-pointers in 24 minutes.

What It Means:

He was awesome and will certainly leave the Mavericks front office with something to think about heading into next season. Anderson was one of the most impressive players at 2015 Summer League. If Chandler Parsons (knee) winds up on another team, Anderson might be a fantasy sleeper next year.

In his first taste of playoff action, Anderson averaged 9.4 points, 4.0 rebounds and 1.4 assists in five games on 45.9 percent shooting from the field. He earned a -0.3 nERD during the regular season, ranking 83rd in the league.
