Salah Mejri still attempting to make case to play for Mavericks
Dallas Mavericks center Salah Mejri (hip) is trying to convince Mavs' coach Rick Carlisle to play on Monday.
What It Means:
Carlisle said he was out 15 minutes ago, so we'll be watching this one very closely. If he can't go, we'll see some JaVale McGee tonight. We'll have on an update on Mejri shortly, but it won't be before lineup lock.
Mejri had an encouraging rookie campaign, averaging 11.3 points per-36 minutes on a 63.6 True Shooting Percentage while sporting a 17.0 percent Total Rebound Rate in the regular season. His 1.0 nERD ranked 70th in the league. Mejri has averaged 4.8 points and 3.3 rebounds in 19.0 minutes per game during the series.
