Chuck Hayes to Houston?
Both the trade for Ty Lawson and the signing of K.J. McDaniels could prompt the Rockets' acquisition of Chuck Hayes for the veteran's minimum, sources say.
What It Means:
The 31-year old Hayes was a non-factor in 29 games last year for the Raptors averaging 1.7 points and 1.8 rebounds while positing a -0.1 nERD. Hayes is known for his defense and his veteran presence could bolster a Houston roster that ranked eighth in defensive rankings (103.4) last year.
