Celtics sign Jordan Mickey to four-year contract
The Boston Celtics have signed second-round pick Jordan Mickey to a four-year, $5 million deal.
What It Means:
Mickey will look to make a defensive impact on the Celtics as he ranked first on LSU last season with 2.6 defensive win shares and second in Player Efficiency Rating (21.7) last season. The Celtics ranked 12th in the NBA in defensive efficiency last season. However, Mickey is slotted deep down the Celtics depth chart at power forward behind Amir Johnson, David Lee, and Jared Sullinger.
