Celtics' Avery Bradley having MRI, out for Game 3 & 4

Boston Celtics guard Avery Bradley has been ruled out for the weekend by coach Brad Stevens and said Bradley had an MRI on Wednesday.

What It Means:

The results are not yet known, but he is still very unlikely to play in the first-round series at all. Bradley was hopeful he could play in this series, but it might not go beyond five games because the Celtics miss him badly. Terry Rozier will benefit most sans Bradley, while R.J. Hunter will be in the rotation. The starters will have to make their extra shots, as well.

Bradley finished the regular season ranked 87th with a -0.7 nERD, and he averaged a career-high 15.2 points per game, to go along with 2.9 rebounds and 2.1 assists. He's also regarded as one of the best perimeter defenders in the league.
